KMC to replace hot-mix plant with green unit

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation has issued a work order for setting up a batch-mix plant to supply road repair material unabated. The work order was given on a war footing keeping in mind the December deadline set by National Green Tribunal (NGT) to wind up existing hot-mix plants that cause air pollution.
