Chief secretary to explain West Bengal’s stand on order violation to NGT

The violation of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order could prove to be a sore point for the state. The chief secretary has been asked to present himself before the NGT in Delhi on Monday to explain the state’s ‘failure’ to comply with the order.
