Kol cops, KMDA gear up to follow NGT lake orders

Twenty-four hours before the Chhath Puja, Rabindra Sarobar looked strangely normal. However, the undercurrent of tension has been simmering among the officials of Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA), the custodian of the lake of national importance, and Kolkata Police, the agency entrusted by National Green Tribunal (NGT), to prevent people from performing Chhath Puja in the Sarobar complex.
