Kolkata: KMDA wants 72-hr closure of Bijon Setu

The Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) wants a 72-hour closure of Bijon Setu to carry out necessary load capacity test without which the bridge’s health audit report can’t be prepared. KMDA officials indicated that they have sought a date next weekend — from November 22 to November 24.
