‘Looked away for 90 seconds and my son was gone’

Sultana Parveen, a 32-year-old homemaker, has been inconsolable since Saturday night, crying relentlessly and blaming herself and the authorities of Eco Park in New Town for the loss of her only son. Four-and-a-half-year-old Sk Owais — fondly called Abez — drowned in a water body covered in algae at the amusement park where he had gone with his mother and a neighbourhood couple on Saturday.
