Panchasyar rape: Cops pray to try accused as adult

A day after a 17-year-old boy was apprehended for the gang-rape of a 36-year-old woman, the police prayed before the Juvenile Justice Board to try him as an adult. The board admitted the plea after listening to his role but asked cops to submit a socio-economic background of the minor so that they can take an informed decision by December 5.
