Diwali-like vigil on noise pollution this NY’s Eve

Bengal’s pollution control board (WBPCB) on Monday announced they would maintain same level of vigil and enforcement on New Year’s Eve just as they did on Diwali night. With complaints pouring in about high-decibel revelry across the city, WBPCB will run its control room and field-level vigil along with police commissionerates in Kolkata metropolitan area (KMA).
