Rogue parking attendants continued to rule the roost in the city’s biggest party zone, mocking law enforcement agencies by extorting money from car owners and drivers in broad daylight. Warnings from civic officials and police officers following a TOI report on attendants demanding five times the official parking rate went unheeded as the parking mafia continued to exercise its muscle on Boxing Day, forcing motorists to pay up.
