Year-end temp slide ups sale of rum, warm beer

With the year-end chill getting sharper, Kolkatans are raising a toast to warm alcohol. While whisky still rules the roost across the city’s pubs and bars, room-temperature beer and rum with hot water have seen a four-fold jump in orders since Christmas Eve.
