New Alipore’s tangle of cables gets KMC axe

After Bhowanipore, Southern Avenue and Park Street, it was New Alipore’s turn to have the mess of cable TV wires removed from lamp posts this week. The civic authorities chopped the wires along Tollygunge Circular Road that leads to the upscale neighbourhood as well as to some of the lanes of New Alipore.
