Temp may go up slightly in Kolkata from Monday

The mercury plunged to season’s lowest on Saturday, when the city woke up to a shivering 11.1 degrees Celsius. At 19.9 degrees Celsius, even the maximum temperature was the lowest so far this season, recorded five degrees below normal. Cold winds and the mere 9-degree difference the minimum and maximum temperature kept the city cold, with residents wrapping themselves in woollens and caps.
