West Bengal: ‘Go for bowstring bridge at Tallah’

A leading expert on bridges feels that the state public works department (PWD) should consider a pair of bowstring bridges as per the standard design approved by Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) at Tallah instead of a cable-stayed suspension bridge that will be expensive and time-consuming.
