Kol's Tallah Bridge may be shut from January 3

Tallah Bridge is likely to be shut down from January 3 so that work to dismantle the bridge can take off. Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA), meanwhile, may take up work to repair and strengthen RG Kar bridge in north Kolkata from the second week of January after completing the ongoing repair work of Chitpore bridge.
