Extended runway at Kolkata airport by 2024

The airport is undertaking a major capacity expansion on the air side with an investment of nearly Rs 350 crore to add 40 parking bays and extend a taxi track over the next five years. Work on extending the taxi track and the first batch of 10 parking bays has already begun.
