Kolkata: Victim’s hubby held for suicide abetment

The husband of the 50-year-old Hiland Park resident who died of severe burns last Wednesday was arrested on Sunday on charge of abetment to suicide. Acting on a complaint lodged by victim Alokparna Mitra’s family members on Saturday, officers of Survey Park police station interrogated her husband Shoumick, 56, for a long time before arresting him. He will be produced in a city court on Monday.
