Mayor talks tough after encroachment complaint

Apprised of fresh pavement encroachment at Camac Street on the ‘Talk to Mayor’ helpline, mayor Firhad Hakim on Saturday asked senior KMC officials to conduct a raid to oust a section of hawkers grabbing pavements. He has made it clear that KMC will ensure that no one encroachs city’s shrinking pavements anymore.
