Protesting rappers add rhythm to dissenting voices

Surrounded by 30-odd people, a lean boy in his 20s, with unkempt hair and clad in denim jacket, belts out the above lines before a motley crowd at Shahid Minar. The boy — Prashant Jha, alias Kat Jr — has penned the lines to voice his resentment against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the police brutality on students and protesters.
