Rs 4.7 cr gold, silver, cash seized; jeweller held

Tracking the trails of a gold smuggling racket busted earlier this month, officials of the revenue intelligence department arrested a jeweller from Burrabazar and seized gold biscuits, silver coins and unaccounted cash, which amount to Rs 4.7 crore, on Tuesday. One of the key operators of an Indo-Bangladesh gold smuggling racket was also arrested.
