After hurdles, E-W set for rollout in 2019

The city’s most ambitious infrastructure project connecting Howrah with Salt Lake’s Sector V via underwater tunnels below the Hooghly riverbed will become a reality this year — a 6km stretch between Sector V and Salt Lake stadium will become operational in 2019.
