Hand stuck in window, civic cop dragged by car

A retired textile engineer living in Salt Lake was arrested on Thursday for allegedly trying to drive off in his car with the hand of a civic police volunteer, who was trying to book him for illegal parking and drink-driving, stuck in the car window. Debajit Kumar Das, a resident of Salt Lake AE Block, was later released on bail from the police station after paying a fine.
