Banerjee had started the dharna at Metro Channel on Sunday evening — terming it an apolitical “satyagraha” — demanding an end to the misuse of central agencies by the Narendra Modi government. That followed a visit by CBI officers to the residence of Kolkata Police commissioner Rajeev Kumar “for questioning” him.
