Kolkata brought the curtains down on puja festivities through the grand ‘Pujor Carnival’ – a gala procession of the city’s 75 idols that rolled down the Red Road even as drumbeats roared, conch shells blew, dancers swayed to pulsating rhythms and colourful pandal installations dazzled.
