Mishap to spur work on terminal at Santragachhi

Tuesday’s accident on the overbridge at Santragachhi is likely to speed up progress of the ongoing work for a major terminal station there. The plans for the mega terminal include advanced infrastructure the station needs to handle the rush of passengers who have now chosen Santragachhi over Howrah. The terminal will also ease the congestion at Howrah that throws train schedules haywire.
