Kolkata: State can’t decide on auto fares yet

The state transport department may have released a draft policy to bring autos under its ambit to stop the unions’ free run, but the government will not be able to fix the fares, at least not in near future. All that the draft policy says about fares is that the rates can be hiked during festive periods.
